Devlog #3 โ€“ Enemy Animations and Spawn System Development ๐Ÿš€


Hello everyone! ๐ŸŽฎ

This week, I focused on adding enemy animations and a spawn system to the game. As the player progresses in this Endless Runner style game, different enemies will appear and move. I wanted to bring the game to life a bit more with simple but fun enemy animations.

What I did

  • Created walk and idle animations for enemy prefabs.
  • Built a system in Unity that spawns enemies randomly at different intervals and types.
  • Spawned enemies stay on the scene for a certain time, move, and then get destroyed.
  • Enemy direction and movement speed are set during spawn.

Next steps

  • Plan to add music for the Game Over scene that appears when the game ends.
  • Will integrate a crafting system, allowing players to collect items and create upgrades.
  • Will start working on new enemy types and levels.
